Excellent picture quality and easy to use.
Bad points:
Only came with very brief instructions on how to set it up. Although it turned out to be fairly easy to set up, it was a bit "trial and error"

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
The image quality in non-HD and HD are amazingly sharp and bright. The sound is so clear I can listen to the television while upstairs in another room and understand every word.
Bad points:
The Electronic Programme thingy is useless for seeing what's coming on later. We are using the Sky tv guide mostly so not a disaster, but when using freeview not only is it hard to find, but it's even worse to read through.

A brilliant picture, and Oh! We can listen to a program and not be bombarded with intrusive music. We can hear voices with the music in the background, where it should be. Thanks to Clear Voice.
Bad points:
Cannot think of anything at the moment.

Barry , Nr Doncaster Multi-purpose viewer

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Lightweight - he picture quality is good - on both HD and normal TV..
Bad points:

Bought the USB internet dongle - it is hit and miss in my set up - it does works but you need to download a media server (and buy it I think) - Twonky ( I am sure there are better ones) also the media server in my case prevents me shutting down my PC - so I have to shut down media server separately - it was also very slow - I will try with a cable- hopefully it will be better.. The internet menu is very slow - and it uses a philips service - which seems to be limited - also set up requires you to read T&C - which is on the TV and goes on forever and there was no option to skip. Using search engine is awkward - as our arrangement takes ages to respond we have a fast internet connection..

The television is a little slow- tedious to respond at turn on - also it seems difficult to find out what is on the TV and when searching for a new programme - the sound goes off - its several stage process. The EPG is not in a Gannt style so you cannot easily scan ahead as you do do - it gives you a list at around the time of interest. The sound quality from a personal point of view lacks crispness and depth albeit there is a sub woofer fitted in the rear of of the TV. We decided to purchase a Sharp Sound bar HTSL50 as this was controlled using the TV's remote to enhance the sound . We connected the sound system using the HDMI lead (ARC) connection as per the manual -this removed the option to adjust Bass and Treble - the sound system did not have any controls. We lived with this as the sound was much improved. When we selected the HD transmission - the sound went crazy - buzzing - bleeping - it only occurred on HD transmission. I was advised that there was a compatibility issue and the system would not work by Sharp. There was the option to use headphone output - however you cannot control the sound level with out going into the set up menu and making adjustments some 4 or 5 steps down the menu listing - so making headphone control awkward - and not really practical. I looked to set up the outputs to the Sound system - I could not find any. The TV has an optical output which has a constant out put, which it is not affected by TV's volume control - which. When I connected to my HiFi system in my front room it worked OK - however this TV is in my Kitchen. I have not been able to find a sound system, that is relatively small on wall space usage that can be attached to the TV, and be controlled from the TV'S remote control or the HI FI's remote controlling l TV.The sharp sound system now being returned to Sharp and I looking for an alternative.

So the limitations with the TV fro my perspective are:

1 Cannot attach a HIFI systems and control it form the TV remote. You will need two Remotes one for Telly and one for HIFI

2 The Earphone output is separately controlled from within the SET Up menu and does not respond to the volume control on the TV - many attached HIFI's rely on the earphone connection.

3 The decoding for the HD TV sound transmissions is not done in TV so sound output on HDMI (ARC) connections is a mix of buzzing and bleeping.

4 The TV sound quality in my opinion is lacking - it has a sub Woofer which is positioned central on the the Back of TV so broadcasting to a wall - our TV is wall mounted.

5 The USB inputs work as does the HDMI extra connections - I tested the HDMI with a DVD player.

If the TV is to be on a table - stand alone then its OK - if you want to do more and get better sound - check out the TV first.
