Score 3.0/10
Good points:
Looks good, slim design
Bad points:
Unless you have a Sharp TV don't go near this as the only connection that works is like a headphone jack and there is a bacground hiss with this approach. The incompatibility with other systems or older flat panel TV's was not explained at all on the Sharp website I bought it from, very dissapointed and the final nail in the coffin with my association with Sharp, what happened?

Ted, Birmingham Home cinema enthusiast

Score 4.0/10
Good points:
Very slim, so won't get in the way of the TV; doesn't even need its stand.
Bad points:
Even the manual warns about the obtrusive hiss when you connect via the headphone socket. Which may be the only option if your TV can't output HDMI audio and has fixed-volume AV sound output, like mine does.

Score 2.0/10
Good points:
Very slim bar speaker
Bad points:
Only works properly if your TV has HDMI with ARC. If it hasn't got this feature don't bother as you will end up using the headphone socket and have a persistent background hiss as a result!

Was hoping sound would be more like surround sound I get from my cinema surround, but sadly no where near as good. Better than normal sound from tv though.
