Good points:
End result is very good
The bar looks very stylish
Bad points:
Although easy to install, it is very difficult to get the sound to actually come out of the speakers!

Eventually managed to get it working by changing the sound output to the TV Headphone slot - not explained at all in the manual!

Good points:
Fantastic sound and you can mount them as one, keep them separate or have them floor mounted.
Bad points:
The description on the site we bought it off didn't mention it has a separate sub-woofer. We assumed it was the 2 ultra slim speaker bars.

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
Easy to set up.
Volume control is handled thorugh the normal TV remote control volume buttons.
Bad points:
There is no power switch - the speakers turn themselves off when the TV goes into standby. This is fine if you put the TV into standby all the time, but not so good if the tv is turned off by the on/off switch on the TV itself. In this case the speakers don't turn off with the TV and so remain on constantly. This can also mean that when the TV is turned back on the speakers aren't recognised and have to be linked back up again through the TV menu which is a pain to do everytime the TV is turned on.

Dave, Beaconsfield Movie fan

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
I love this product, along with my new Sharp TV. Beautifully stylish using the vertical perspex stands. This system, (much miss-understood according to some reviews), when optimally positioned and connected up via the new HDMI ARC standard, gives superb 2.1 home theatre sound. It will not make News at Ten sound like Good Morning Vietnam, but any TV programme/Bluray/DVD with a well crafted soundtrack will sound superb in any living room. (Sharp BD-HP35S Blu-ray player also recommended).
Bad points:
If using the new HDMI V1.4 ARC standard, make sure all your system leads are to this specification. There are plenty of cheap bogus HDMI V1.4 ARC out there, avoid the frustration having one of these in your system will bring!

Manufacturer's Description

The world’s slimmest and most compact 2.1 channel Sound Bar System ideal for all LCD TVs including the new AQUOS- LCD-TVs from 46 to 52 inch screen sizes.

A powerful sound impression is generated by several small front speaker chassis with total 100 Watts RMS and an external active Subwoofer with 100 Watt RMS output power. The latest HDSS sound system guarantees an excellent sound quality. An 3D-Audio Return Channel (ARC) via HDMI-Terminal provides a realistic 3D-Sound when used together with a 3D-Aquos-LCD-TV.

Highly desirable – this beautifully designed and crafted sound system is incredibly flexible and can adopt multiple styles: place the soundbar easily into your system by positioning it as two separate speakers to the left and right of your TV (individual stands offering vertical adjustments are provided) or join them together and position underneath the TV, wall-mount them, or put them inside a rack – the choice is yours.

The soundbar volume is adjusted by the TV volume settings, when connected via the headphone output terminal of any TV-Set. You can use your conventional TV remote control (all brands), to control the volume settings of the soundbar.
