Rod, Witney Music lover

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
The comfort was good and sound quality ok. The noise reduction worked well on the plane and battery life seems good.
Bad points:
The noise reduction part of the headphones has a spring clip that has come loose and now just anoys! I dont always want to use the noise reduction and it would have been great if this part detached so the cans can be used by themselves.

George, Redhill, Surrey Long distance air traveller

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
Have started travelling to Oz once a year to visit my son and his family. It had previously been a very noisy journey. These headphones reduced the background noise to a very acceptable and pleasant level.
I wore them for most of the journey without any substantial discomfort.
The adjustment was good.
The batteries lasted the whole journey there. Fitted new ones for the journey back so I can't comment on total life of the batteries.
I would not travel without them now.
Bad points:
When the suppression is switched on there is a slight hissing sound. I found that I got used to it and it was only during quiet periods in the music or film that it could become noticeable.
The suppression unit is bulky. I found a shirt pocket ideal for holding it.

Elliot, Hampshire Often on the move

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
- The padding cancels out sound quite well even with the noise cancelling off.
- The active noise cancelling does a great job cutting out ambient noise (air con, airplane/train noise, traffic noise).
- Folds up to fit into a pouch about 6" by 4"
Bad points:
- Noise cancelling unit is quite large, 5" long.
- Noise cancelling unit is susceptible to interference by mobile phones. Supposedly they put some shielding into the PXC300s to prevent this.
- The way the cables fold into the pouch puts stress near the point where they enter the noise cancelling unit. This has caused mine to break (after about 2 years of ownership), reducing the noise cancelling to one ear.
