Good points:
Purchased as an upgrade from an HD6850.

I needed it to support 3 monitors, which it does effortlessly.

I do not use it for games, but I can load all 3 monitors with multiple windows without any problem.

Fans are silent and the running temp is below 50C.

I have always had Sapphire products and have never had a problem.

Note that it needs 2 power supply cables.
Bad points:
Nothing with the hardware.

There's no point in installing Radeon's Crimson software if you don't play games.

It was reduced, now I see why.
Bad points:
The silent fan control by Sapphire is bad:
45 C just 10 min in bios. You need to use MSI afterburner or Sapphire TRIX to set the fans working.
Some people playing it at 75-80 C = road to fast electronic degrading or shall I say motorway?
45 C idle temp is not normal rising at 50 in win 7 with aero in a big case with plenty of fans. Back plate is trapping heat( unless is thermoconductor metal(Copper and not Nickel or Chrome don't put it on), don't really see the point of it.Work against the cooling of the card.
Driver support is bad, really bad . Only old drivers are stable 15.11 anything above you might experience crashes, nasty ones with black screen and frozen keyboard so you can press reset and mess your OS.
Why so many OC cards and so little standard ones? and this question is for all manufacturers. I suspect this 380 might be very well an 390 which failed at factory tests and resold with some small mending as 380. And we, the users have to fix and "walk around" like "headless chickens". Not funny Sapphire. VRM not cooled as the GPU , higher temps than GPU with 20 %. Why?
Can't use new drivers and old ones are not very good image and blurish. Running it 16:10 screen@1920:1200

On older screen with DVI cable won't even start" No signal" doesn't appear is just a black screen. To make it work you need an DVI> HDMI adapter which is not included with the card.

Femi,

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Definitely a great budget card. You won't find a cheaper 380 elsewhere. My graphics settings for most games are high to max with minimal frame rate drop.
Bad points:
Bloatware. AMD installs a lot of unnecessary junk with the drivers. I usually buy Nvidia cards so this was a surprise.

Plays.tv is only cool if you're a streamer and in-game recording sometimes starts without me doing anything. You can switch if off but its enabled by default.... quite annoying.
