Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Runs almost everything at 1080p at a good 30fps on ultra settings. Exceptions to this have been Arma 2 and Flight Sim X. At certain times these titles stutter. This is running on a 2500k i7 and 12gb of ram. Im surr its down to these games not being optimised properly. New titles such as Assassins Creed 3 and Hitman Absolution run on max detail without the card breaking a sweat.
Bad points:
On a couple of games (AC3, OMSI) when max anti aliasing is turned on it has a wierd transparent effect on some textures. Dropping down the AA by one level solves this. Ppsssibly driver related, this is on an x64 win7 build. Using latest Catalyst.

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
good gpu powerfull enough for pretty much all new games on max settings,
overclocks well,
very cool thanks to the good cooler on it,
dual bios good for overclocking as seccond bios has a more agressive fan profile so no need to make your own,
Bad points:
could of done with two dvi ports on it, but that isnt really a bad point as i have other ways of connecting my two moniters, just prefer dvi, but that was an overlook on my part nothing bad against the gpu,
it is big, and some may struggle to fit into there mid tower size cases, it fitted into mine with very small amount of room to spare, again not a bad point just an observation and a warning to people with smaller cases.
no real bad points to this card other than those small observations.

Manufacturer's Description

The SAPPHIRE HD 7950 OC Edition, which is factory overclocked to 900Mhz and features SAPPHIRE’s new dual-extractor technology – Dual-X – a highly efficient multi-heatpipe cooler with dual fans providing quiet and very cool operation during normal operating conditions, and superb cooling performance even under extreme load.
For enthusiasts wishing to maximise performance, a new version of the SAPPHIRE overclocking tool, TriXX supporting this latest generation of technology is available free to download from the SAPPHIRE website. TriXX allows tuning of GPU voltage as well as core and memory clocks, whilst continuously displaying temperature. Manual control of fan speed is supported, as well as user created fan profiles and the ability to save up to four different performance settings. Both of the SAPPHIRE HD 7950 models have a dual BIOS, allowing for further experimentation by the enthusiast. On the OC edition, the second BIOS is pre-programmed to allow a higher maximum overclock and more aggressive fan profile.
