Score 9.0/10
Good points:
The camera is very easy to use, all the buttons are within easy reach with one hand use. Downloading to you PC or watching on a TV are very simple with the docking station provided. The camera turns on very quickly for those time when you need it quickly.
Bad points:
The camera stugles to take photos at a distance, this may be because I haven't played around with all the settings.

Good points:
Incredibly compact, easy to use, beautifully made and takes fantastic pictures.
Bad points:
Nothing really - one always wants greater battery life, but it's not at all bad and I bought an extra 'spare' anyway.

Confirmed purchaser Professional videographer

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
While this camera is not perfect, it is the best HD value for the money at the moment.
Bad points:
The ergonomics are a mess. I've inadvertently turned the camera with my thumb while shooting. With its upright design, the record button should be in front where the index finger lies, not on the back! The zoom seems to be only one speed, not progressive the further you push the switch. It is so light that even with a wide angle lens attached, walking shots are quite shakey. I get around this by leaving the camera mounted on a lightweight tripod and lifting the whole. The weight of the tripod acts somewhat as an image stabilizer with my arm comfortably extended - a rudimentary steadicam. I leave the legs folded with one extended and use it as a monopod.
The microphone is not very good except for close quarter work. I use an external mic mounted on the shoe on top of the camera and plug it into the mic input with the supplied short adapter cable. I also use earpods plugged into the headphone jack. Unfortunately, the mic & phones jacks are right where your index finger falls, so be careful not to dislodge them.
