Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Fantastic picture quality and beautiful design
Bad points:
Connects to the internet BUT doesn't allow you to stream TV or movies from the internet -- not much point in that so don't waste money on a WiFi dongle.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
The design, look and style of this TV are outstanding.
The TV is very thin, as thankfully was the packaging.
It was very easy to set-up, though set-up is best done without the instruction manual.
The picture quality is very good, although I have noticed a halo in certain light/colour conditions. B
lacks tend to be very black.
The sound is as I expected from other reviews and is best described as good. The speakers are downfiring, at the moment I have this on a unit so maybe the sound will improve once on the wall.
The wall mounting system looks innovative if slightly overpriced
All in all I am very impressed with this TV.
Bad points:
If you press info on the remote a small indicator comes up on the bottom right of the screen which fluctuates between LED and Conventional TV. This is not mentioned in the instruction manual so I'm not sure what this signifies. The instruction manual is a long term bed time read, whilst the menus on the TV are very simple and intuitive?
Remote could be better laid out.
I get a crackle when using Standard sound mode - I've found this on different sources so its definitely the TV. Its fine on all other sound modes though. Sound could be better but this TV is so thin I doubt its possible to get better speakers in there.
You need to check quality and spec of your HDMI cables - the ones I have used on 2 other TV's with my PS3 will not work on this TV and I had to buy new?
I'm not quite sure which media files are compatible with this TV but none of my MP4, AVI, MKV files will play. I normally use Tversity through the PS3 which I will continue to use.
Warranty of 1 year is miserly
Remote batteries are 2 x AAA - I can see these will need to be changed often
Wall mounting kit is grossly overpriced

Good points:
This flatscreen is extremly stylish, picture clarity is so clear its ridiculous ..... it feels like a 3D picture though it isnt
i am not a fan of sitting with glasses on so it ticks the boxes. i agree that the sound is not as good as it could be but we are looking at a stylish sleek front screen that exudes quality right down to the stand which ia brush silver platform.
I counter balanced the sound situation with an LG blue ray player and surround system HB965TZ and kapow!!! its the dogs preverbials sound is awsome and has the coolest intergrated IPOD dock to flip down set up a sinch.
It has the plus of HD freeview.....if you have this money i have felt and looked at a few screens you will not be dissapointed!!
Bad points:
minor i almost wish for the quality of the picture to be not quite as clear as it is but minor its a case of me adjusting to this clarity

Good points:
looks great, sounds much better than expected, picture awesome some of time, terrible rest
Bad points:
fuzzy picture when moving fast, makes loud crcking noise from time to time, torchlight effect on dark picture, contrast will not settle ( goes from light to dark etc when looking at same picture) and finally when in use for a few hours screen wil go black for no reason then reappear

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
The tv was very lite and easy to pot into positon, set up instructions were clear and easy to understand. Not a lot to do after that the tv doing most of the work itself. The picture and sound quality are a great improvement over the old LCD tv especially when the sun shines through through the window and there is no need to close the curtains, the LED screen having a much a brighter and defined image.
Bad points:
None up to now!

TV Buyers Guide

Manufacturer's Description

Anynet+
Take the drama out of enjoying your home theatre. Anynet+ delivers one-touch control for all compatible Samsung audio and video devices connected via HDMI. Now one touch is all it takes instead of a coffee table full of remotes.
Wide Colour Enhancer plus
Wide Colour Enhancer plus
The challenge of any TV screen is to recreate reality through colour and light. We met this challenge with our Wide Colour Enhancer Pro feature. After analyzing each pixel, it stretches them to their 3-dimensional limit. What you get is the fullest, most lifelike colours you’ve ever seen on a TV that is.

4 HDMI
All it takes is one cable to connect your TV to your other audio and video sources. Our HDMI slot allows you to import all kinds of content without compression including pictures and videos from your digital camcorders and multimedia PCs. Now enjoying it all on a wide HD screen couldn’t be easier.

Full HD 1080P
Anyone can say they have the clearest picture. But only Full HD 1080p has twice the detail and twice the resolution of regular HDTV. It delivers dazzlingly, rich colour and vivid details. And even corrects the errors from standard definition content. It’s definitely not your father’s HD.

Connect Share Movie
There’s no excuse anymore for leaving all those great digital pictures and videos in your cameras. All you need with the Samsung HDTV is USB connection cord. Just plug it in then instantly play.
It even works for your music collection. So now anytime is showtime.

Ultra Clear Panel
Enhanced Black Expression with Low Haze By optimising the light’s phase and increasing the transparency ratio in ultra clear panel, new Samsung full HD TV can reduce reflection of out light and increase contrast.

100Hz Motion Plus
Never has fast-paced animation or special effects in movies looked smoother than they do with Auto Motion Plus 100Hz technology. By analyzing and extending action frames, Auto Motion Plus 100Hz assures nothing goes by in a blur. Instead, special effects are crisper. Animation smoother. Sports sharper. And viewers are more glued to their screens.

Inspired by nature, designed with style.
Samsung continues to be inspired by the beauty found in nature and our latest HDTVs reflect that. Each of our series represent different elements found in nature—Metallic Sensation, Mystic Earth, Stone Black, Rhythmic Lines, and Sierra. And the understated tones change depending on the viewing angle and environment. Skillfully sculpted and ultra-slim, our new Samsung HDTVs are the essence of beauty.

The smartest way to watch DVDs in high resolution.
Want your standard DVD movies to look as good as Blu-ray discs do? No problem. We created BD Wise, a feature found on Samsung DVD and Blu Ray disc players that, when used with an HDMI cable, automatically detects the optimal resolution for your discs and adjusts your Samsung HDTV to the perfect setting. This way you can spend more time enjoying great-looking movies and less time fiddling with settings.

This TV doesn’t settle for less than perfect.
A picture that’s smooth and clear doesn’t always magically appear. That’s why many of our latest HDTVs are equipped with a digital noise filter. When you have a less-than-perfect picture in a poor reception area, this filter reduces the analog noise created during transmission? reproducing clear images, sharp details, and bringing images back to their original beauty.

Light controlling, energy saving.
Samsung HDTVs are easy on the planet—and on your eyes. Our unique Eco Sensor measures the intensity of the room’s light and automatically calibrates the brightness of the image on the screen. In a brightly lit environment, the picture brightness grows even brighter, and in dim surroundings, brightness is reduced. So now you’re not wasting energy on a bright screen when it isn’t needed. Enjoy the best picture possible with a TV that’s aware of its surroundings.
