Good points:
Excellent picture quality - deep blacks, high contrast, good motion, freeview hd, good insight, impeccable detail, sharpness, accurate colours, nice remote, looks a treat, reasonable to buy, easy to use.
Bad points:
sound volume needs more detail, would be even better with added 100hz motion, requires picture tweeking for perfection

Richard, Heavy computer user

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
I bought this and am using it specifically as a computer monitor, because I need a large physical screen area for working on multiple documents but I don't need very high resolution. The display is bright and (with some inputs) clear. I have no opinion on the sound quality because I use separate speakers, and I have no opinion on the design.
Bad points:
With an HDMI connection to my computer, this TV/monitor overscans by 4%. Although my graphics card can compensate for the overscanning, this results in misalignment of the pixels and thus a display much less sharp than it should be. I have contacted Samsung for advice on how to prevent this behaviour and received an acknowledgment but, after more than a month, no answer.

Roland, Presteigne Powys Multi-purpose viewer

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Great design and easy to use on-screen menus. I was apprehensive about the sound quality being irritatingly tinny as it is a very thin product but it is fine for our use.
Bad points:
A pity that to turn the picture off when listening just to the radio (we live in a hilly area and cannot get good terrestrial radio so listen to programmes via satellite) you have go through a load of menus. If only 'picture off ' was included in the picture mode button choice. This is a minor complaint though.

As others have mentioned, in this day and age of saving energy it should have power off switch which could have been on the back so as not to ruin the aesthetics.

Good points:
Very attractive TV and fantastic picture. Very simple to use and connection to my Sky remote, DVD and laptop is a doddle. Highly recommend.
Bad points:
Only thing that got to me a little was that in order to get wireless internet on the TV you have to purchase a further Samsung wireless dongle. Which I didn't. But hey ho.
