Good points:
Really light and a good shape to carry about. Good quality zoom and quite easy to transfer onto computer or watch on the TV.
Bad points:
Wish it had come with a memory card . If you programme it to use the fade option it forgets it when you swith it off, so you have to remember to reprogramme it again next time.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Light and simple to use.
Play back not too difficult.
Bad points:
Keep forgetting to close lens cover/shutter
Zoom control a little difficult to access as it is too near to finger so can't easily adjust.
Too many options !
Accessory pack /holder needs a smaller carrying case as at times it is a little cumbersome when getting in and ouy of case ?

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
This camcorder is easy to use straight out of the box - it charges quickly, which can be very useful. It produces excellent quality video footage in 16:9 format. The instructions do need to be read initially in order to get the best out of it, and it is useful to get a good quality SDHC memory card - getting a 16GB card will give you over 6 hours of recording time (so you might want to purchase an additional battery, since the battery lasts for 3 hours!).
Bad points:
The autofocussing can be a little slow to catch up. It very much depends on what it being recorded. There are specific settings in the menu that allow you to set it for fast moving objects, which helps. Despite using an SDHC memory card, there is still a slight delay between pressing the record button and recording actually starting. The sound is recorded from the direction the camcorder is pointing, so if you were to try recording a live group with a PA system (with speakers outside of the direction of the camcorder), a slight delay is introduced.
