Good points:
(Writing this review as a student Fresher, used to the performance of a high end gaming PC. Bought this as it seemed to have awesome battery life, speed, multitasking with some power.) Screen is awesome, very nice aesthetic overall. Touchscreen is fluid and accurate, although built for smaller fingertips due to the high resolution. Battery life seems very solid for a laptop, Iasts through two 2hour lectures, constant use with 20-30% at least left over (only just got it a week ago though, so we will see how long that lasts for.) Very pleasantly surprised with Windows 8, mainly due to the touchscreen, the two work very very well together with this laptop. Not much noticable lag, I run with an average of 40 tabs of Firefox/Chrome open at any one time, and the laptop still runs other applications snappy and fast over that. Wireless seems strong, trackpad isn't bad (although I'm finding myself using the screen and trackpad in equal amounts) and the thermals are awesome. The laptop stays pretty cool against your lap even under heavy use. Plenty of ports (4 usbs!), ethernet port pops down to fit it in, awesome design. No ports on the back, they're all on the side (good!). The laptop is very thin, light and comfortable to use.
Bad points:
Speakers are located on the bottom where your legs would sit, personally I'd place them below the screen, poor design there. If you want to listen to music or watch a film, I wouldn't sit the laptop on your lap for this reason. Tried running World of Warcraft (mainly a processor game) and it ran at ~15-20 fps with fairly low settings but high view distance. Basically the graphics aren't really as powerful as advertised, I wouldn't advise this for gaming. Only one headphones jack, no microphone jack, so most headphones over £50 will need an extension/splitter to use with this laptop. Backlit keyboard isn't the brightest I've seen by far, it's a dull blue glow and the highest setting is pretty conservative. The "face" side of the laptop (keyboard etc) is brushed metal, but the base is painted and the corners and edges seem to scratch and wear fairly easily, which is disappointing. Very expensive, would have prefered an SSD rather than the 1TB HD, considering the 4 usb slots.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
My son has a Mac Air and he tried this PC, his verdict. Dad, it's like a Mac Air. Very sleek, very robust, very powerful, It fulfills all my needs, Windows 8 is pretty easy to master and their is plenty of PDF info provided with the laptop,
Bad points:
None major, But, the power cable fitting into the PC is badly designed and the cable kinks. A right angled elbow fixture would solve this.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Quite straightforward to use. Clear screen, displays etc. Combination of swiping and typing intuitive to me, compatible with desktop, smartphone and Ipad use. We bought an external disc drive to go with that and that works well too.
Bad points:
Bit sluggish at times, seems to fail to respond at all which is pretty annoying, and sometimes cursor seems to move itself to another place! Heavy so not very portable but we knew that when we bought it so not a problem to us.

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Well built with a solid feel. Beautiful keyboard with backlight keys.
Trackpad works well and touch screen is responsive.
Enough connectivity for even me, Ethernet, D-Sub, HDMI and 4 x USB ports, WiFi and Bluetooth...
Excellent image quality from even very acute angles in all planes.
Bad points:
Came with Windows 8 pre-loaded. Not a big fan yet but v 8.1 should sort most of my operating system dislikes when it is released.
Like many modern laptops, no DVD drive, (Cost of an external one £15.)
Could be argued its a bit heavy at 2.5kg but I think it's worth it.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
A pleasure to use, depending on what settings you use you can achieve in excess of 8 hours on a single charge.
This touch screen version is fast and fluid even when utilising WIFI, when used on a wired connection it's like lightening.
The graphics are top drawer, movies and games are very crisp and fluid and the JBL speakers are wonderful.
The brushed aluminium chassis is a real eye catcher and will get you noticed in any environment.
My purchase came with Windows 8 installed, as with any new software you have to persevere with it and decide what apps and tiles are relevant to your particular uses and interests but so far no complaints, in conclusion I think that this out performs a much more expensive Mac Book and the huge 1TB memory gives you oodles of space for all multi media libraries, you'll be hard pushed to find an excuse not to buy it.
Bad points:
This is a double edged sword, it isn't the lightest option on the market but the balance is beautiful, by that I mean if you are using the stunning touch screen then you will not experience tilting / the whole machine rocking backwards, as you may experience on plastic constructed imitators, for me this is a plus but if you choose to lug it around all day you may find it a little cumbersome.
