Good points:
Have upgraded from a XP desktop to a Windows 7 laptop and the difference in speed, performance is amazing. Windows 7 o.s. itself needs a bit of getting used to and so does Office 10 but after nearly a month I feel I'm getting there. The touchpad is rather sensitive to someone who hasn't experienced one before. Thefeel of the keys on keyboard is very positive.
Bad points:
Oversensitive touchpad (though this could be down to inexperience).
Bright screen - distorts colours unless you can find the optimum angle for the screen - a mat screen would have been better?

Good points:
Great size, good solid keyboard although the number pad takes some getting used to. Great spec for the money. I was worried about the screen from other reviews that I had read - but glad to say that it was all unfounded - the screen is excellent. The sound quality is excellent for a laptop too. Its a great multimedia solution. The processor has yet to be pushed and the 6GB of Ram means that it won't run out soon. The massive hard drive means that even though I upload 2 GB of photos from my camera at a time it will still last a while. So far it looks like a good buy (only been using it for 1 week so far though).
Bad points:
I am yet to find a bad point about this PC - unlike my other PC's where I usually find a gripe within a few days of ownership! I guess that this is one large PC if you are doing a lot of travelling but if you are looking to buy a PC of this size then that applies to any of the alternatives too.
One issue with WIn 7 64 bit though - I tried to browse using the 64 bit browser but ran into problems - for example Adobe do not have 64 bit options available yet so you could not run iplayer on a 64 bit browser (for example) - This is not an issue with the machine - just use the 32 bit browser and all is well!
