Confirmed purchaser General home user

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Runs very quietly and very cool. Good sound for a laptop, excellent screen.
I use for development and run apache, mysql, an IDE, a UML tool, perhaps a wordprocessor and an icon editor. Also an email client and several tabs in IE (and perhaps also firefox). I might also be listening to internet radio or playing a cd. The laptop copes with all of this without fuss, and I can switch seamlessly between the different applications.
Bad points:
Still haven't got use to the keyboard layout. The insert/delete/home/end keys just aren't as easy to use as on other keyboards. A very small point, I'm sure I'll eventually get use to them.

Larry, Sunderland General home user

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
This is an impressive high performance multimedia laptop with a first class display. The build quality is excellent and the red/black colour scheme is attractive and pleasing to the eye. The highquality keyboard is responsive as is the smooth wide touch pad. Overall I rate this as a powerful product which fulfills my needs and expectations.
Bad points:
The speakers do not deliver top quality sound which, although acceptable, can be enhanced by using external head phones which produce a greatly improved listening experience.

The weight is as you would expect of a 17inch screen entertainment laptop, but this is a minor point considering that it was purchased to used at a fixed base most of the time.
