This is not some cute little thing to pose about with believe me!
But for if you need a large screen and a separate numeric keyboard, like I do, this is definately the deeley for you!!!
Add to that it's fabulous snake-like skin.... no plain covers or 'it's sparkly in the right light' offerings here.....
and you have a superbly stylish set-up.
Finally the screen offers an experience I have never before seen in a computer. Its not for nothing that Samsung are known for their screen quality! The colours, the clarity, the sheer life in it...Bellissimo!!

Good points:
Nice looking machine, excellent display, I was a little worried by some reviews complaining about the gloss screen, but it's not a problem for me. Handles Sibelius 6 (music DTP program) effortlessly; my old laptop couldn't cope with it, which is why I upgraded. The fact that it has a numbers pad made it a no brainer for me as this is really helpful - if not essential - with Sibelius. Yet to try it with Photoshop, but can't see it having any major problems with it at this spec. Realistic battery life for 'average' use is about 2.5 hours, not bad... I like the charge indicator on the battery.
Bad points:
I'm not a gamer, so can't comment on this aspect of it's performance, but I believe from what I've read online it's not brilliant with the latest 3d games. Personally, and for my use, the old 4:3 aspect ratio for the panel was better, but the 17" screen is big enough to get over this. Widescreen is good for films, not so good for documents, IMO. Documentation is basic - I could see someone struggling a bit if this was their first laptop, which is a shame, as it's a decent machine.
