Lydia, Point & shoot

Score 6.0/10
Good points:
Nice colour and metallic feel
Good picture quality (as far as you would need for a point & shoot!)
Good range of features
Easy to use and upload onto the computer
Bad points:
I recieved this camera (the PL81 model in purple) for Christmas and after using it literally only 4-5 times between now and then, I found that there was a black mark in the corner of the screen where the pixels had died and the screen had bled. A couple of hours later, another mark appeared on the screen next to it and it seems that these are getting progressively bigger as time goes on. I have been exceptionally careful with this camera so I am shocked that it seems to have broken so soon. I have tried to get my money back to no avail, and so am very disappointed as I originally loved this camera and will now be very wary of Samsung products in the future.

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
size, colour, easy to use. easy to charge, large lcd,
Bad points:
only a cd instruction manual was in the box and I bought two cameras (the same), one for my mother (80) and one for my daughter (13). My daughter is coping fine without even using the cd but I have had to contact Samsung for a booklet user guide for my mother. However, this was obtained easily through the tesco's direct website technical support.
