Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Well the specs talk for themself, very fast laptop, runs all the games ive tested at max specs without any problems with fps and such. The dedicated game mode is brilliant as it keeps things running smoothly even with a demanding game.
Bad points:
None really, some may say battery life, size and weight, but to be fair what do you expect from a laptop with such power?

Kim, Leicester I'm a "power user".

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Most powerful laptop I ever had and very impressive. Can't fault it on performance - handles all my games and MS Office all at once in multiple windows across two screens (extended workspace) - all with ease.
Very nice decent sized screen with loads of settings - love the manual switch between modes on the side, and loads of connectivity with 4 USB ports (2 being usb 3.0) which I need for controlling astronomy and picture processing software. Better spec than the Dell Alienware machines for the same money. This ones a keeper for sure and great value for money.
Bad points:
I do wish they wouldn't pre-load these machines with security software - Norton was the first to get wiped off. The Samsung auto updates barely ever work - it just can't connect most of the time or stalls half way through - that's poor - very poor. If there was one desirable thing I'd wan't extra it would be a bigger SSDRAM to load the o/s into. The current SSDRAM is a disk buffer (which performs great as such) - but it would be nice to give Windows it's own SSDRAM cos it's now so big and unweildy it needs it - and so it doesn't interfere with all the other stuff in that annoying habitual way it has about it.

Geoff, Northants Music, gaming or video fan

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
A powerhouse of a laptop, outperforming most of the competition. Equivalent models from the more mainstream gaming laptop suppliers (Alienware, etc), are significantly more expensive.

The laptop has probably the best screen I have ever seen, colours are superb, and much better than anything else I have seen.

The sound is also surprisingly good for a laptop, with a good level of volume and depth. None of the tinny noises you would normally expect.

I have pretty much stopped using my desktop for gaming, and have switched to the laptop. Not because my desktop isn't up to it, but the laptop just seems to handle everything so much better.
Bad points:
It is a fingerprint magnet.
The power brick is exceptionally large

Alan, Dublin General home user

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
- Impressive performance
- Large sharp screen
- Nice keyboard, could happily type for a long time on this
Bad points:
- Given its a performance laptop with a large screen, the battery isn't going to last as long as a more modest laptop and it's fairly heavy. Unfair to list these as bad points as that's what you're buying; a big heavy performance laptop :)
