Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Easy to set up. HD and upscaled pictures very good. Blacks are quite black (not as good as plasma but not bad). DVD player plays almost anything and USB reader is a bonus and works well. Speakers are good quality. 3 HDMI connections. Great value for money and as all parts are Samsung, they all 'talk' to each other automatically on connection.
Bad points:
LCD smearing on fast action scenes but no worse than other more expensive models. Standard definition (Freeview) pictures not the best. Not quite enough speaker wiring length. Main connections (power, vga, component) on back which means TV can only be wall mounted with tilted bracket (needs 6cm clearance at back), not slim fixed bracket. Remote control buttons small and fiddly.
