Score 1.0/10
Good points:
- well designed
-brilliant touch screen
- android works brilliantly on the handset
Bad points:
- low battery life
- feels cheap and plasticy
- doesnt start up quickly ( if at all )
- on three occasions, the phone dosnt start up at all due to a "technical glitch" in the sofware, i have had the phone replaced by orange three times now costing well over a thousand pounds, after the third handset that has broken down, i have brought an iphone4 which is absolutely amazing ! i have had it for almost 3 months now and i have had no problems what so ever!

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Turn off the auto rotate and don't leave the wifi / wireless on when it's not needed and the battery will last for days; switch it to 'airplane mode' overnight to keep alarms on and the battery will push 3 days with light use (lots of texts, minimal calls, light internet use, minimal games); smaller than the Galaxy S II; handles the internet and email well.
Bad points:
The phone is large, I am a small female and this is about as large as I can hold in 1 hand (insert cheesy 'Carry On' joke here); Shows every fingerprint and speck of dust on it but a case would get round this; camera is terrible, takes forever to focus and does not work well in the dark, then again, you're buying a phone not a camera.

Score 6.0/10
Good points:
great camera to say its only 5mp, better than my old s8300's 8mp cam, good battery life when listening to music, great screen, great wi-fi and apps store, android is ood but as with all software, it has its faults.
Bad points:
SLOW ( even though its got 1ghz processor and 512mb RAM) , first one went faulty in 1st day when i took first picture and review mode froze and went back to main menu but froze completly on background wit no icons, wouldnt turn back on after taking battery out, second one running very slow, sometimes takes over 1 minuite to do even the simplest of tasks such as loading contacts or a camera, also takes 30 seconds to end a call when the screen wont load up and try presssing the end call but the screen lock activates and takes a while. screen button on side malfunctions and sometimes doesnt make phone respond and laggs then turns on and off really fast. no dedicated camera key, no flash, unprotected camera, plastic body feels cheap, screen side button can still be pressed in pocket without case, screen supposed to be non reflective but still does. overall i am starting to regret getting it, personally i think it was rush produced to be released at same time as iphone 4 and wasnt properly tested. tempted to cancel contract or ask for equivelent or better. (sorry for wall of text)

Score 3.0/10
Good points:
Swype is VERY Cool!
Screen is GREAT.
Speed is very good.
Looks MARVELOUS.
Bad points:
Samsung Kies not supported on 64-bit Windows. Samsung has no ETA on a version that is.
Bad firmware: Phone crashes between 2 & 10 times a day. Seems to be related to poor cell network signal strength.
Bluetooth is unreliable and unpredictable
Apple ear buds don't work well with this phone
Media Player no audio (sometimes); rebooting phone or killing and restarting apps usually fixes this
Support is abysmal.

Score 3.0/10
Good points:
nice slim design, easy to access apps and settings.
Bad points:
well where to start. i've had the samsung galaxy s for 4 weeks now and i have to say i want to throw it out the window some days, if i use apps like msn or facebook, my signal suddenly goes which in turn doesn't let me connect to the sites. i have to turn the phone on and off to use it again, it also freezes alot even after using the advanced task killer and there's nothing running on the phone. i have taken it back twice and been told i need to download the new software for it which isn't out until november, making this the 3rd samsung galaxy s handset i have had. i'm not very impressed with it if i'm been honest and would advise people not to go for it. the only other problem i am having is i sometimes can't use anything on the phone while it is charging.
