Good points:
This is a good entry-level laptop for the price. I have bought it with Windows 7 Professional operating system and plan to use it mainly for business purposes. I have not used it yet for games or downloading movies and TV catchup.

Good points are:
1. The laptop is relatively light and portable
2. It has a pleasing design (But note that it's grey and black and not silver and black as in the photo, which is annoying, because I liked the look of the sliver and black model).
2. The matt screen is good and stops glare
3. The keyboard is well laid out and the letters and function keys are responsive to touch,
Bad points:
1.Why is there not a basic user guide included with the product?
2. The laptop can be slow to get going from start up.
3.I don't like it that Caps Lock and Num Lock don't light up on the keyboard as they do on other laptops. Instead, when you press these keys an on-screen message appears momentarily, telling you that they are on or off, which vanishes in the blink of an eye. If like me, you look at the keyboard when you are typing and not at the screen it is easy to miss the message. A back light to these keys when turned ON would be helpful
4. When typing I like resting my plams on the palm rest but I find that the palm rest on this model is not as generous as on other laptops like Asus and Acer and also on other similar spec Samung models like the white/blue NP370R5E-A05UK

Score 5.0/10
Good points:
Boots up fast, clear screen, not much else. Bought because of Win 7 installed and POP3 functionality, Windows 8 is a terrible product, hang your head in shame Microsoft.
Bad points:
Keyboard is not very tactile, little feel to the keys. Give me a conventional keyboard with proper keys.
Not sure how long it will last, its a bit plastically and not very robust. Wouldn't survive a drop test.
Wi-Fi reception is average.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Matte screen! At last an end to the reflection nightmares that blight almost all other laptops, thanks to the consumer-unfriendly stupidity of the industry! You can use it outside! You can use it in an office with strip lighting! I love the matte screen! In other respects a well-designed, reliable, conveniently portable laptop with a nice keyboard, thoughtful arrangement of ports etc. I've had plenty of Samsung products and they have all been great, and this laptop seems well up to the usual standard. And did I mention the matte screen! Joy!
Bad points:
None that I have found yet.

Good points:
Sleek design, good ram and processor speed. Bought as a present and one of the few still available with Windows 7 which was a personal preference
Bad points:
As with nearly all laptops battery life is not what it should be in this day and age

Enjoy long-lasting performance, reliability and value. Samsung’s intelligent anti-aging technology ensures your battery lasts 3x longer, while a scratch-resistant, anti-fingerprint Duracase keeps it looking good. And with a slim bezel, anti-reflective display that produces sharp clear images, even outdoors, up to 7 hours (5.6hrs DVD play) battery life and lightweight design you can afford to go anywhere.

The anti-reflective 15.6” HD LED display produces images with the sharpest details and boldest colors. Its matte surface has less mirror effect, so you can use it for longer, even outdoors, without your eyes getting tired.
