Dave, Poole

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Amazing picture quality.
The Axium HDD50H has truthful colour rendition, excellent contrast with minimal picture noise. When viewing Freeview + DVDs (progressive scan) it looks even more expensive than it should.
The better the signal souce the better the picture although strangely enough when viewing DIVX and XVID movies it really look very sharp with good colour when in theory being a compressed medium they should not on a such a big 50 inch screen.
Very easy to set up and coupled with an external AV receiver the HDD50H provides a really excellent home cinema experience
Bad points:
The Freeview tuner on occasions locks up and resetting it takes a while. To be fair every Freeview box I have ever tried does the same but as the HDD50H has an integeral tuner the instructions describing how to reset it could be more
effective.
To date have not received any documentation regarding registration with the manufacturer as it has a supposedly 2 year warranty (see the Sagem UK web site).
