Good points:
It has been on non stop in our pheasant pen since mid August , 7 weeks ago. battery consumption is excellent, and clarity has been maintained. The birds love it, Mr Reynard doesn't!

Michael, Weston-super-Mare

Score 3.0/10
Good points:
This is our second purchase of this radio, which we use mainly for holiday. Its reception is not great, but adequate for casual listening. It represents good value at the low end of the range. Do not buy it if you want high fidelity reception. It is not designed for this. When this purchase eventually fails then we will replace it with the same model, if still available.
Bad points:
Only time will tell, but the previous set failed more to do with lack of robustness to stand up to airline handling inside a suitcase, and we hope that this new purchase does not suffer the same fate too soon. What happens seems to be steadily increased distortion due to the rough handling and, at the price, it is not worth repairing.

Edna, Edinburgh Spoken-word listener

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Up to now, we have been unable to figure out how to set up any of the Digital radios available nowadays - this leads to stress!! So, since we mainly listen to "BBC Radio Scotland", "Radio 4" and, occasionally, "Radio 3", this model is ideal as we don't need to turn the "tuner" many times and it's what we've always been used to. (Actually, we've got three in our home so that we can listen to important things whilst we move around + they weren't expensive.) 'Tried to download photograph from my mobile but am not skilled enough on how to do this. Sorry!
