Score 7.0/10
Good points:
Relatively cheap and good enough quality, enough for me to transfer my out of print vinyl to MP3 anyway. Does require fairly careful setting up to get the best from it - but can't complain for the money, and the outcome is far better than the reproduction I used to get from my Dansette way back when.
Bad points:
Make sure you know how to set it up properly, it is not very forgiving!

Good points:
For my purchase - sounded good for 1st few sides.
Bad points:
My Rega 2 bias belt snapped as I was adjusting the bias and as I could not use the deck for about 6 months (saving up for another) I only started using the cartridge on a Michel Tecnodek just before Xmas. Home Media of Maidstone fitted the cartridge to their own deck for me to borrow over Xmas as a new one was being supplied by Michell for me. When I went to collect the new deck, Homedia swapped over the cartridge and one channel was not working. The black panel on the back of the cartridge was loose and resulted in a circuit break. Apparently the have seen this once before. I had to buy a new cartridge. The new Bias2 sounds OK but it's a little harsh on treble. Mid range, drums and imagery are clearly defined and the bass is reasonably punchy. I did listen to the Goldring 1042 on the same setup and it sounded much more musical. At home am using the Technodek, RB250 arm, NAD C352 coupled to B&W DM602 S3's
