Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Nice and simple. Speedbox is very convenient for playing 45s. Sounds good. Seems quite robust and comes well packaged.
Bad points:
The audio cable is captured and so if you need a longer cable you need an adapter and you cant put a shorter cable on without cutting the exisiting cable. The power supply is 'wall wart' type which is a bit annoying compared to a proper built in supply. There is no 'off' switch, just a switch to activate the rotation of the platter, so the power supply and speed box are always drawing power (wasting electricity) and there is a light on the speedbox which is always on unless you physically unplug the power supply or turn off the power at the wall. These are slight annoyances on an otherwise fanastic turntable, but still worth mentioning.
