Peter, London Chef

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
I bought this to replace an aluminium one. This product is far better. It has a number of safety features which manage the pressure and allow it to be easily released. Having the pressure control built in saves losing the weights I had on my old one. The best feature is that it is stainless steel which doesn't discolour especially when foil or ingredients high in acid are used. I use the pressure cooker frequently now, particularly following Heston's guide to stock making - a good stock can now be made in 1-2 hours.
Bad points:
The lid is awkward to fit until you get use to the positioning

Thomas, Washington

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
Pretty fool proof
Bad points:
Instruction manual is a bit contradictory, illustrations are tiny, sharp enough but surprisingly small.

The wire trivet for the inner steaming basket container looks rubbish, and the two arms to lift out the basket with are annoying in the extreme, seem to be there to get in the way and tempt you in to unsuccessfully using them to lift out the basket, most odd.
