Bad points:
Grass constantly becomes unattached from the mower. Extremely frustrating as grass then falls onto lawn, very difficult to re-attach.

Baz, Bournemouth moderately keen gardener

Score 1.0/10
Good points:
It is good enough for a postage stamp of a lawn which is perfectly flat. The cutter works as well as any. It is small so may fit more easily into a tiny shed than the average mower. Mowers never seem to last more than 3 to 5 years so buying such a cheap one was good.
Bad points:
Where do I begin? The problem lies mainly with the grass box. It will fall off over the slightest bump in your lawn. It is too small - despite the advertising hype about its size - to cope with even a small lawn without being emptied over and over again. It is built in 2 halves and kept together with clips which are difficult to put on when you build it (yes, this mower comes as a kit of parts!) and they are forever pinging off whilst in use. I have used the lawn mower once on two small lawns and already lost one of these clips. If you lose too many it will fall apart. I was so frustrated I removed the grass box and raked up the grass afterwards. The wheels are weak and flimsy. Come the new season I will invest in a decent mower and being so cheap keep this as a spare, as all mowers break eventually.

ALAN, London

Score 1.0/10
Good points:
Cheap
Bad points:
We were unable to put the thing together. Instructions were useless so we thought there were missing parts. We returned it, got another which was exactly the same. If you have building or gardening work experience then you probably can put this together. But its not for ordinary people. Useless. We went to Argos and got a decent lawnmower cheaper.
