- Good points:
- Very nice picture, great size for my wife's handbag as that's who I bought it for. Excellent rechargeable feature and good that it uses any SD card.
- Bad points:
It would be even better if it defaulted to the SD memory imediately on turning on but you have to go through 7 button presses to get this. It is a minor niggle but you just want to bring it out and switch it on to show your photos.
Would still recomend it though.

Lighter than most other digital photo frames
Weighing in at a featherweight 100 grams, this Polaroid Digital Photo Frame is lighter than most other digital photo frames, so pictures of your loved ones can always be with you, no matter where you are or what you are doing.
The lithium battery supplied lasts for 2 hours so you can charge it and take it anywhere.
- USB powered*
The device is USB powered, so there is no need for a plug/AC cord which makes it even more portable. With a lithium battery that can be recharged through the USB port on your PC, you don’t even need to keep your Polaroid Digital Photo Frame plugged in to view your photos.
Impressive picture quality (320 × 240 Resolution)
Resolution is important. All the fuss and hub-hub about High Definition TV revolves around resolution. So let’s try and simplify this. All LCD screens use pixels to create an image. When you see 320 × 240, this means that your LCD screen has 320 horizontal lines and 240 vertical lines of pixels to effectively display an image. The larger the number of lines on any screen, the clearer the picture will be. With a high resolution 3.5" LCD screen, you can display sharp, crystal clear photos without the need for a PC or photo editing software.
Bright and vivid colours (250 cd/m² Brightness)
Things get a little tricky here but the basic principle is simple. The brighter the screen the better the viewing experience. The brightness of an LCD screen on a digital photo frame, PC, mobile phone, digital camera or TV is measured in cd/m² or candelas per square metre. So with a brightness of 250 cd/m², this Polaroid Digital Photo Frame can display the same level of brightness produced by 250 candles per square metre! That’s a lot of candles, but what this means is that your photos will look as vivid and clear as the day you took them.
Sharp pictures (300:1 Contrast ratio)
Understanding contrast ratio doesn’t need to be complex… quite simply the numbers relate to how well the screen can display the blackest black to the whitest white. So with a ratio of 300:1, you can be safe in the knowledge that your pictures are always going to be displayed at their best with a Polaroid Digital Photo Frame.
Reads SD and MMC cards
Simply take out the SD or MMC card from your digital camera and place it into the side of your Polaroid Digital Photo Frame to start viewing your photos. No wires, no PC, no software and no fuss.
Easy transfer of your photos from your camera
JPEG is the standard file format for digital images. When you take a picture on your digital camera, it will save the image as a JPEG. It basically means the photos on your PC can be transferred by USB or memory card to the photo frame and then played back.
Easy transfer of your photos from your PC
USB is short for Universal Serial Bus. Simply, this means it’s a plug that can support data transfer. Your PC will have USB inputs and so does your Polaroid Digital Photo Frame. You can transfer photos from your digital camera/camcorder or portable USB pen drive. That way, even if you don’t have a memory card or want to just plug the photo frame into your USB pen drive, you can transfer and view your photo easily. All without the need for a PC.
Sit back and enjoy all of your photos in a variety of styles. Great for those family occasions or personal memories.
