Chris, Poole

Score 6.0/10
Good points:
Very easy to use, just plug in and go- you can quickly add existing USB drives to share out documents and the like
Bad points:
The pogoplug service is incredibly slow- whilst in principle it's possible to convert your videos to watch on your iphone, you wouldn't want to. The best I've managed (after multiple reboots, using a smaller, faster drive, and on the latest firmware) is twenty seconds of a movie (about 500mb in size) so the transcoding aspect isn't up to much. Transfer small documents works ok, but if all I wanted was document access I could've bought a cheap NAS box and took my drives apart to use inside it. Additionally, transfers on the LAN (locally) to the drive are incredibly slow (again, a NAS now seems like a better option)- both copying to and from the device takes an age- not ideal if you plan to store multimedia content on there (i.e. music or video).

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Innovative personal cloud with multi platform access to ALL your files? And it's secure too? I would have paid twice the price and still been happy - outstanding value for money and so easy to use too...
Bad points:
iPad software is a bit buggy and clunky, but the iPhone version works seamlessly, so not too much of a problem.
