Good points:
Superb picture when it works - mine is attached to Pioneers topend KURO plazma.
Bad points:
Has major issues with so many discs that simply refuse to play !!! ( Blue Rays and the occasional dvd )
Disc load time is unacceptable too
PIONEER support on this player seems to be existemt with no real firmware updates to resolve major issues.
Wish I have brought a PS3 instead - at least it would of played all discs regardless. Quote "better to see lesser quality than nothing at all ...."

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
the build quality is awesome which is typical of Pioneer. i cant fault the picture quality which is also really good on DVD's. Its a very quite machine which is one of the main reasons i purchased it to replace a noisy PS3. There is also no issues whatsoever with disc load times which others have commented on in some respected AV Forums - its no slower than the PS3 which is actually quick!
Bad points:
The remote control could have been built a bit better, thats the only criticism i have !

Good points:
A very good blu-ray player for the price & also plays several other formats.
Bad points:
Unnecessarily complicated remote control - it's difficult to even find the basic play, pause, ff, skip buttons, especially when watching something in the dark. Terrible design.
