Good points:
Being able to vary the temperature enables perfect coffee and green tea every time. It looks and feels good too. I bought it for it's temperature contol mainly for the coffee - but my wife is equally impressed with it.s black tea capability.
I would unresevedly recommend this kettle to anyone - especially at the price .

Keith, Bury St Edmunds Function over form.

Score 6.0/10
Good points:
Boils fast, easy to fill and good looks (if you like stainless steel). The top springs open for ease of cleaning although the spout is big enough and shaped just right to fill from. The nob at the side for adjusting temperature can be useful but it requires trial and error adjustments to get it just right. OK it's more of a gimmic than useful.
Bad points:
The stainless steel outer cladding can get VERY hot, a fault common to all stainless steel clad kettles; plastic is much safer (because of this water does not stay hot for long, at least not as long as my last plastic kettle). As a one cup kettle it is not so good, the one cup mark is at the very bottom limit of the window therefore getting it just right is fiddly. Also getting the last half a cup out is difficult due to the internal design therefore in practice if you want one cup, boil two, it's easier!

Sue, Rainford

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Boils quickly and quietly compared to many other kettles. Fill level means I only boil the water I need. Simple styling: it looks better than in pictures. Overall very good build quality. Pours well. Splashes on silver body don't mark as much as other silver kettles I have had.
Bad points:
No information in the product guide on how to use the temp gauge to make different drinks so I tend to leave it permanently on the highest setting. Flip lid mechanism seems the weakest point and I'm not sure how it will cope long term.

Good points:
Looks very smart and has no problem boiling water. Far better than a polished finish as it doesn't show marks as much. Still needs a polish every week or so with a microfibre cloth to keep it at its best.
Bad points:
Limescale builds up on the rim of the black plastic lid and the rim of the kettle body where the lid sits when closed - presumably due to steam escaping there. Probably more down to the water where I live though. Has made a funny whistling noise a couple of times too so I'm keeping an eye on that.
