Good points:
Highly specified for the price.
Bad points:
Low res movies may bother some, but it's a DSLR not a video camera.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Easy to use (but I am still working out some of the digital extras); excellent optics; lightweight; I can use my Pentax K-A lenses with it; so far the video is excellent (didn't buy it for that); good low light shooting. All-in-all I'm well pleased with it.
Bad points:
Close-ups using the the macro could be tighter, but to be fair, the enlargements are excellent. I can't understand why the manufacturers don't include a camera bag as standard.

Good points:
Purchased to replace my K1000. The extra lenses will fit and work manually. Excellant backwards compatability. My interim camera was an Olympus mu. SLR's are much easier to use. I welcome the format back to me.

Jo, Penzance Keen amateur

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Fast auto focus. Great low light quality. Good quality images.
Bad points:
Extremely low battery life and replacement battery expensive. AA battery converter should come as standard. £30 seems like a bit of a rip off for such a simple bit of kit.
