Good points:
Given the sheer number of features, this tv is easy to set up. Unlike a lot of televisions Standard Definition signals look great (including my Wii, surprisingly). Perfect for gaming, watching films and flicking through channels.
Bad points:
A reflective screen, but I suspect it wont bother you much. The only reason I noticed was due to reviews mentioning it.

Good points:
Picture is much better than the previous LEC item I had bought and sent back as it was shocking picture. This Plasma is 10 times better. Best thing to do is to look for a plasma, dont go making the mistake I made of buying a standard 50hz LCD. You need at least 600hz this panasonic converts 50hz into 600 hz and that makes the difference between a juddery picture (no basically worth watching) and one that is!!! Things to also look for Contrast ratio of at least 2 million to one....but make sure that the response ratio is LOW.....below zero like 0.01 because if your watching footy the lower the response ration the sharper the grass and also fast running images are. I've had this item a few wks so far so good....will have to see how its going in 2 years or more...I think all elctronic goods should be made by the giovernment to carry a minimun 5 year guarantee ....if a seller wants you to buy extra yrs warantity then they dont have faith in their product do they?
Bad points:
Sounds just acceptable on this model but to be honest I find the sound difficult to adjust and sometimes it can sound a bit tin-eeee...but for the price one cant grumble and most of the time I tend to set the sound to music.....I find the music setting best for all programmes. There is also a user setting for you to move the different HZ about but that can take forever. They could have done better on the sound that is for sure but overall good value for money.
There are a few other things although it may be my sat dish? I subscribe to sky and find many of the movies a bit dim...and I have the setting on dynamic....its like they are now making movies with a touch of sepia....old movies seem fine its just a lot of new movies that seem dim and lacking in back lighting etc...shocking

Good points:
Easy set-up and great picture. Remote control a little "fussy" but not difficult to use.
Bad points:
Using with PVR which causes issues when switching on. The tv can be set to switch on in AV mode but only to the Scart-connected input, not HDMI, so I have to manually switch over every time I switch on. There are sound volume issues also with this as the tv volume has to be set very high in order for clarity when using the volume control on the PVR afterwards. This latter issue is probably PVR-related, not the tv. But as others have commented, the sound in general from this tv is a little weak and it would benefit from an additional sound source.

Good points:
For an entry level plasma tv this certainly ticks all the boxes. Very easy to set up even the most inept technophobe will have no problems. The picture quality is amazing especially on the HD channels, i get a better picture though the indoor aerial than the cable box. As for build quality and inputs/outputs its pretty basic really, but enough to validate the price.
