Good points:
Lovely big tele that's very easy to use and set up. For its size it's very light and thin. All good.
Bad points:
Wasn't happy about having to shell out another 60 quid for a wall bracket. I feel Panasonic should supply this whenever you spend over a grand on a TV.

The only fault, if one can call it a fault, is that the on/off button is a little too low down at the back of the TV

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
The picture quality is superb. The sound isn't bad, but as we use a soundbar, it doesn't matter too much. It was on special, so the price was good too. I would recommend this TV certainly.
Bad points:
The absolutely HUGE box. I appreciate that it has to be protected in transit, but perhaps the size of the box was overkill.

Good points:
Amazing for gaming and films plus good value for money. Blacks are deeper than my plasma and whites are purer
Bad points:
The feet being either end of the TV meant I needed a longer cabinet instead of just having a central stand, took about a week to let it settle down with a smoother frame rate etc maybe just had to update software

Manufacturer's Description

The Panasonic VIERA TX-65CX700B Smart 3D Ultra HD 4k 65" LED TV not only offers high resolution viewing, but also includes Freeview Play, designed to make it even easier to watch the programmes you love. With the new Firefox OS-based home screen it’s now even easier to access your favourite content on this exclusive 4k Ultra HD TV.

4k viewing
The VIERA TX-65CX700B offers some of the best viewing around thanks to its Ultra HD 4k resolution. Offering up to four times more detail than HD, UHD 4k brings you beautifully detailed images.

This TV features a built-in 4k decoder, which means that you’ll be able to stream services such as Netflix 4k, and prepares you for the 4k services that will be available in the near-future. The three HDMI 2.0 ports mean that you’ll be able to connect 4k peripherals, including set top boxes, cameras and Blu-ray players.

Freeview Play
Built-in Freeview Play technology means that you’ll be able to enjoy some of the best entertainment without needing a separate set top box. The VIERA 65CX700 is one of the first TVs to include Freeview Play.

As well as allowing you access to a range of digital channels and radio stations, Freeview Play allows you to rewind the TV guide so you can catch up on the TV you’ve missed without requiring separate apps. Whether it’s your favourite BBC or ITV drama or a comedy on 4oD or Demand 5, you can access the programmes directly from the guide.

Making TV Smarter
Don’t put up with a slow TV – the Quad Core Pro processor at the heart of this TV separates Smart TV processing from picture processing. This means that your picture quality remains great even if you’re streaming, so you won’t have to make any sacrifices.

The VIERA 65CX700B boasts a fast and simple Smart interface that’s powered by Mozilla, the company behind the popular Firefox browser. This makes it easy to find the services and functions you want, and pin your favourite apps, show and more to your own custom homepage.

This TV also includes My Stream, which monitors the sorts of shows you like to watch and recommends similar content. It doesn’t just show upcoming shows, but can also search catch up TV and the internet to find content that might interest you. You can make the recommendations more accurate by pressing the ‘My’ button – this tells your TV to look for similar content.

Stay up to date
The Info Frame delivers all the information you need when you switch on the TV, so you can start the day well informed. It provides notification about the weather, updates from Smart TV apps, new recommendations and much more.

Designed to suit you
Take your favourite TV wherever you go thanks to Panasonic Cloud technology. This lets you stream live TV to your smartphone or tablet, so you can enjoy great content no matter where you are. You’ll also be able to watch content from a USB stick or hard drive that’s connected to your TV.

With Voice Assistant, you’ll be able to find everything you’re looking for by simply talking, whether you’re telling it to search for TV shows, websites or searching the internet.
