The Panasonic VIERA TX-40CX700B Smart 3D Ultra HD 4k 40" LED TV not only offers high resolution viewing, but also includes Freeview Play, designed to make it even easier to watch the programmes you love. With the new Firefox OS-based home screen it’s now even easier to access your favourite content on this exclusive 4k Ultra HD TV.
The VIERA TX-40CX700B offers some of the best viewing around thanks to its Ultra HD 4k resolution. Offering up to four times more detail than HD, UHD 4k brings you beautifully detailed images.
This TV features a built-in 4k decoder, which means that you’ll be able to stream services such as Netflix 4k, and prepares you for the 4k services that will be available in the near-future. The three HDMI 2.0 ports mean that you’ll be able to connect 4k peripherals, including set top boxes, cameras and Blu-ray players.
Built-in Freeview Play technology means that you’ll be able to enjoy some of the best entertainment without needing a separate set top box. The VIERA 40CX700 is one of the first TVs to include Freeview Play.
As well as allowing you access to a range of digital channels and radio stations, Freeview Play allows you to rewind the TV guide so you can catch up on the TV you’ve missed without requiring separate apps. Whether it’s your favourite BBC or ITV drama or a comedy on 4oD or Demand 5, you can access the programmes directly from the guide.
Making TV Smarter
Don’t put up with a slow TV – the Quad Core Pro processor at the heart of this TV separates Smart TV processing from picture processing. This means that your picture quality remains great even if you’re streaming, so you won’t have to make any sacrifices.
The VIERA 40CX700B boasts a fast and simple Smart interface that’s powered by Mozilla, the company behind the popular Firefox browser. This makes it easy to find the services and functions you want, and pin your favourite apps, show and more to your own custom homepage.
This TV also includes My Stream, which monitors the sorts of shows you like to watch and recommends similar content. It doesn’t just show upcoming shows, but can also search catch up TV and the internet to find content that might interest you. You can make the recommendations more accurate by pressing the ‘My’ button – this tells your TV to look for similar content.
