Score 10.0/10
Good points:
This is my first LCD TV and was bought after reading reviews on Which? magazine. Firstly it was extremely easy to install, just connected it up, plugged it in and the TV did the rest. The remote control is easy to use and very sensitive.
The screen is a nice size for every day use. My son says he no longer needs to squint when playing his computer games! Games consoles are very easy to attach and there has been no problems with glare from the sun on bright days. The quality of the picture and the colours are really lovely. One day we were watching a wildlife programme with some seals swimming and it felt like I was in a boat beside them watching!
When we first got the TV the sound seemed to be booming out at us. We very quickly got used to this and now appreciate the quality of it.
The TV looks very smart and being flat screened does not feel like it is taking up too much space ( we have a long narrow room).
I cannot think of anything I don't like about it. I would have no problems recommending it to anyone looking for a 32" TV.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Versatile with regard to features and connectability. Can not reproduce skin tones correctly. Often program sharpness is similar to painting with numbers - blobs of colour, with no fine detail. I have not been able to try out HD, yet.
Bad points:
Standard viewing is poor. It soon becomes apparent that video quality of some programs is a disgrace. Compare some game shows (colour balance is often very pink - poor skin tones - and definition is appalling0 with nature programs where definition is quite good, but no anywhere near the quality of a CRT TV

Manufacturer's Description

With 50Hz video signal input, Motion Picture Pro 2 creates 100 frames/1 sec from 50 frames/1 sec. This increases the frame count to allow natural frame-to-frame transitions, which results in smooth motion images with high resolution. With Motion Picture Pro 2, the VIERA LCD also detects areas with motion and activates backlight blinking for those areas only, greatly enhancing resolution. Smooth reproduction of movie images a cinematic effect is achieved to preserve the quality of images that are recorded onto movie film at 24 frames per second.

Images are beautiful even when viewers are sitting at an angle to the TV. The IPS Alpha panel has a wide viewing angle, so the images are crisp and clear even when viewed from an angle. The same high-quality images can be enjoyed from any place in the living room.

This kind of expressive power will thrill science-fiction fans even dark scenes are elaborately detailed. Improved panel contrast combines with the I.S.C.(Intelligent Scene Controller) to achieve a high, 10,000:1* contrast ratio. *Dynamic mode only

The term “x.v.Colour” was proposed as a designation for products compatible with xvYCC, which is an international standard that allows enhanced colour reproduction with a wider colour gamut than before. The crumpling of the fabric is clearly seen and the 3D effect is effectively expressed. The unique texture of the fleece-type material is much clearer to see. *x.v.Colour is a registered trademark.

In addition to brilliant picture quality, VIERA models offer the easy operation made possible by VIERA Link and the SD card slot. VIERA Link lets you operate other connected Panasonic AV components using only the VIERA TV’s remote control unit. The majority of the VIERA line-up is equipped with a slot for large-capacity SDHC cards. You can view a slideshow of your photos on VIERA’s big beautiful screen just by simply remove the SD memory card from your digital still camera, and slip it in to the slot.
