Doug, Warrington,Cheshire Keen amateur

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Very quick to focus, almost instant image capture, well made, loads of features, with a great lens.
It must be the fastest Superzoom currently on offer, quicker than the Canon or Fuji alternatives.
Up to around 400 ISO it can produce some great A4 prints, which is fine for me.
It's a great travelling companion, nice and solid, but not too heavy on the shoulder!
Bad points:
The image replay button could be a bit bigger, and the flash is a bit weak, although you can fit a seperate flashgun if you want.
Like almost all Supezooms,it's best used at lower ISOs,due to the smaller sensor, but that's fine for 99% of my photography anyway, and most other people,I would think.
I have been a keen photographer for 40 years, and have had many film and digital SLRs,but find a big camera bag, with expensive lenses, just too heavy, and cumbersome,so I have sold my digital SLRs.

John, Surrey Keen amateur

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
The 24x optical zoom is the stand-out feature, as well as the full HD video function
Bad points:
The video record button is not easy to locate when you want to stop recording. Perhaps it's a question of practice. On a recent occasion when the weather conditions were wet and windy (but the temperature 14c) the camera wouldn't respond when the shutter was pressed and I had to reboot. I have to see f this repeated.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Easy to use, quick and easy set up, good quality images
Bad points:
Assume levels of knowledge on main instructions, if you dont know what half the terms means it ishard to understand what the camera does. This is not alone with this product but a fault of manuels world wide
