Alison, Essex General photographer notprofessional though!

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
excellent large screen. clear pictures. excellent photos in a completely pitch black room...the flash was so strong it lit up the whole room and took brilliant pictures. The back light facility is a very useful feature to brightenup a photo when you don't want to use a flash...eg. on a shiny surface.
Overal, I'm thrilled with the camera. Use it in intelligent mode and it basically does most things for you.
Bad points:
having to remove the battery for charging... on my fugi finepix, it stays in and just charge it. Battery opening cover is quite flimsy plastic and you need to make sure you lock it immediately after removing the battery in case it could be knocked off. Not sure why a mains lead was not included in the box..for downlaoding photos stored on the camera. I bought a 2gb card and just put that in the computer to save battery power.....and it works fine...but again, you have to open the same cover where the battery is stored in order to do this. Not a big problem though.
Would be nice to have more control over the zoom lens...which are great... but a bit inprecise when zooming.
