Charles, Sutton

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Most of it's functions are easy to use and instructions are pretty clear for the trickier bits. It is compact and lightweight without being too small to hold and use the keys. Compatibility with the Panasonic repeater provides a solution to reception problems going beyond normal range - this can include large metal obstructions if you can effectively bounce the signal around a corner.
Bad points:
It is not possible to transfer all numbers, categories, ringtones and settings from one handset to another. I have six handsets and although I was able to transfer the numbers and names from one to another, it was then necessary to enter categories separately and edit each entry one at a time to allocate each to a category. The range of ringtones is rather limited relative to the cost of the phone. If you want to make a call in private (i.e. someone picking up another handset does not automatically join conversation) you have to select the option AFTER connecting for every call - it cannot be set as a default option.
