Good points:
Good price. wide body and space for two additional hard drives which were easily fitted to the removeable cage. It is plenty fast enough for my needs. Its quiet. I bought mine as I had got one for my son Dec 2010, his worked fine from the start.
Bad points:
buyers beware You are restricted to what you can put here

Wireless adapter was fitted but no drivers installed - the large chain of pc and washing machine retailers re funded me twenty notes which was great and I got a tee pee link wireless adapter wn 722n from s american river website.

Good points:
It's very nippy. Packard Bells are generally pretty sturdy. My laptop has survived 5 years of abuse from me and still runs OK. I'm expecting great things from this PC :)
Bad points:
Not much room inside the case for expansion, if you're into that sort of thing.

Good points:
Good, fast, robust.
Bad points:
When I'd got it set up I found that the button for opening the CD drive doesn't work. When you've got that far you're not going to dismantle the whole thing and take it back to the shop, so I'll live with it. But it's a reminder that reconditioned does not equal perfect.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
I purchased a refurbished version of this machine. The condition of the unit was pretty much as new, and the software pre-loaded was exactly as described. Overall this product more than meets my requirements for home office requirements, processing speed is very good as you would expect with quad core, 4gb RAM is ample for my requirements, as is the HD. Multi tasking is now much quicker than on my old machine, I can now keep a whole host of things going at the same time without affecting the speed. I am not a gamer so cannot comment on it's gaming capabilities. I liike the layout on the front panel with two USB's easily accessible from the top for everyday use and 6 more at the back. The front panel is a clever design as it points upwards towards the user. The piano black finish is good but attracts dust too easily.
Bad points:
The packaging it arrived in from PC World was a generic type box which was frankly useless! It was batterd, the tape was ripped, the internal polystyrene was smashed to a pulp, obviously from the way it was treated by the courier. However, no way is the box right for the product and there is a significant amount of movement, and they are totally reliant on the courier being ultra careful. Fortunately my PC still (surprisingly) worked ok.
