Good points:
Great Value for money...though now out dated still pretty quick and deals with all I've thrown at it.
Bad points:
Lid doesn't have a catch to keep it closed. Bit petty really but that's all I can see against it.

Rupert, Southampton General home user

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
design ir gorgeous and high end look and feel, multi-touch mouse pad, screen resolution/quality is fab, separate number pad, memory size and connectivity (lots of USB ports and HDMI), built in webcam
Bad points:
Battery life is average for this size of screen/unit. The main issue is Packard Bell customer support is the worlds worst - you are meant to download the user manual and get registration documents when you first start it, but because the PB website is not aligned to this, it just does not work, so no user guide can be downloaded for your machine and you cannot get automatic updates (windows is ok) as you are supposed to. There is a generic UG online, and updates on line, but some will crash your machine as they are generic also. PB, (part of the Acer group) don't have a clue what their own manuals instruct users to do with regard to userguide/registration when you phone so highlighting the fault is pointless, the whole thing is a sham. You cannot talk to anyone or raise a complaint (that gets answered). 6 months on the website was updated so registering the unit may now work, but still no users guide and the email addresses I was given to complain to are closed. A company in trouble. NEVER BUY PACKARD BELL OR ACER GROUP.
A Shame as the unit is brilliant otherwise.
