Good points:
Waterproof, drop proof, freeze proof...
Bad points:
I bought this camera after my brother has it and likes it, but he is'nt really into photography like i am and is happy with most of his holiday snaps being blurry and not of great quality. I on the other hand wanted a 'tough' compact camera to use in the situations when i don't want to take my DSLR. So i bought this camera, and was so disappointed. Firstly it's like a brick, it's really heavy and has very sharp corners. The shutter button is very hard to press down resulting in a bit of camera shake when you take a photo, with no vibration reduction to correct it. The menu/features button on the back is in the form of a joystick which is really quite hard to use, and you end up selecting different options than you actually wanted. It's also really slow, from turning it on, to it being ready to take a photo, is such a long time, by which time the moment will have passed. I also think the image quality is terrible unless you really take the time to hold the camera really steadily, which a lot of the time when trying to take a quick picture, isn't possible. On a night out recently i think 1 in every 4 photos were blurry. Overall, i think its a terrible camera and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I ended up getting the Nikon AW100 which is miles better.

Good points:
The 'crystal clear' screen is amazingly crisp underwater...though as tough as the camera is, the screen and casing strangely it isn't scratch resistant so be careful when around rocks and sand!
Bad points:
As with any waterproof camera, the battery life isn't amazing, although it did seem to perform better than reviews I've read for other makes/models. As such I would definitely recommend purchasing a spare battery to avoid dissapointment.
