The ground-breaking Olympus SP-100EE features the world’s first built-in dot sight framing assist which works in tandem with the newly developed 50x optical zoom – ideal for moving and distant subjects or for sports photography. Also featured is a high resolution EVF plus a deeply-shaped grip for optimal handling.
Built-in Dot-sight framing assist
The Olympus SP-100EE is the world’s first dot-sight camera. Dot-sight helps you to easily track moving subjects and keep the subject in the frame by offering a wide-angle view of the scene on its semi-transparent mirror. The dot-sight stows away for portability and pops up immediately without the need to adjust the zoom, so you never have to miss another image by having to retrace and compose.
50x optical zoom
Carrying multiple lenses to cover all shooting situations isn’t always feasible. With the SP-100 and its 24-1200mm equivalent zoom, you don’t have to. This optically superior lens has an opening bright f2.9 aperture for crisp images in low light, and captures everything from wide-angle panoramic views to long-distance close-ups in astonishing detail – throughout the 50x optical zoom range.
Fine Tune Focus
With the SP-100, you’re in control. For quick shooting in telephoto mode, use the convenient focus button to lock in the autofocus or activate either Manual Focus or the Focus Limit feature, which offers three AF modes: Aperture AF, Infinity AF and Close-up AF. A full range of shooting modes (P/A/S/M) is also available.
The DSLR-quality TruePic VII image processor and best-in-class BSI CMOS sensor deliver blazing fast autofocus, superb low-light performance and quick start-up time. iHS – Intelligent, High Sensitivity, High Speed – and it translates to dramatically improved image quality.
The familiar comfort of eye-level composition combined with advanced digital technology. All the shooting information you need (e.g., exposure, white balance, Art Filters) is displayed, especially useful when bright daylight obscures the LCD monitor.
