Some customer reviews of Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 75-300mm f/4.8-6.7 II Lens

Good points:
Perfect on the OM-D E-M1 as it's fairly light-weight with ultrafast, accurate and silent focussing. It also has the luxury of a metal bayonet fitting which should give extra longevity and robustness.
A must have lens for MFT.
Bad points:
No lens hood and the genuine one is expensive. Fortunately the hood from the Zuiko 4/3 ED 70-300 which I own, fits
No storage pouch.
Old fashioned lens cap but once again the better centre pinch cap from the 70-300mm lens is also 58mm and so I'm using that.
So now I'm using the hood, lens cap and storage pouch from the 70-300mm lens to make this one as it should be supplied. So the dropped points are due to Olympus for being stingy!

Manufacturer's Description

The M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 75-300mm f/4.8-6.7 II Lens is a Micro Four Thirds super telephoto lens. Extremely compact and lightweight it offers an equivalent range of 150-600mm on a 35mm film camera. Now you can capture that sense of being close to your subject without having to get so near. This high-power lens has two additional benefits.

It comes with a unique screw drive mechanism, which is especially quiet for shooting films and has a very fast auto-focus function (MSC) for taking rapid-fire still shots.
