Good points:
I like the 'feel' of the better build quality over my D3000 and most importantly the improved picture quality. Having the LCD display is a big plus for practical use. Another plus is the resurrection of my old AF lenses.
Bad points:
None really. More of a learning curve compared to the D3000, but that's about it.

Build quality, screen res, feel in the hand, built in motor for AF older lens, top lcd screen, DOF preview button..some better features than the newer D5000 & D5100.
Bad points:
Video..but iv never used this feature in any dslr iv had.
