Good points:
Excellent bit of kit. A really nice full frame camera at a reasonable cost.
I love the size it's well made but still light. It still has a qulity fell.
It produces lovely images, making the best of my Primes and is not to heavy to carry all day.
Would have preferred 9 image bracketing.
The high ISo is magnificent. Does what it's supposed to brilliantly.

Good points:
great great great image quality, compared with the D800, couldn't find any difference. color depth and dynamic range is unbelievably of high quality. Don't fool yourself and buy high end cameras.
Bad points:
only thing I don't like on this camera is the feel of buttons, I prefer pro style Nikon buttons when everything is on the top wheel.
also build quality is not that solid as other pro cameras

Good points:
Full frame make all the difference, now all my lens work the way how they were made to. Stepping up from a D7000 most of the controls are in similar positions, the feel of the grip is more comfortable the weight is just right over all a really good camera.
Bad points:
Focus points all clustered in the middle.

Digital Cameras Buyers' Guide

Manufacturer's Description

Shoot big and travel light – the smallest and lightest full-frame digital SLR Nikon has ever crafted, the compact D600 is set to change the game for enthusiast photographers.

Nikon’s newly developed 24.3 megapixel FX-format CMOS sensor delivers outstanding levels of detail and tonal range, even in low light situations.

The high-performance EXPEED 3 image-processing engine is the same as that used by the Nikon D4 flagship camera, transforming digital data into superior quality images with smooth colour and spectacular detail.

The Nikon D600 enables superior subject acquisition in most lighting conditions thanks to Nikon’s newly developed Multi-CAM4800 39-point AF system that boasts AF sensitivity inherited from the flagship D4.

The D600 boasts magnesium alloy top and rear covers and is weather-sealed to the same degree as Nikon’s professional D800 digital SLR, offering enhanced resistance to moisture and dust
