Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Camera is well balanced but can be improved by fitting a battery grip which makes using the camera in the portrait mode so much easier because the additional controls on the battery grip enable are in the correct position for shooting in that mode.
Metering system offers exceptional control over the image being taken as does the facility to auto bracket exposures in a number of modes.
Bad points:
Not a good camera for a new person entering the DSLR sector as the features are far more comprehensive than a point & shoot person would require

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Fantastic build quality and superb photo quality. Really good LCD screen and very little noise at high ISOs. Not hard to use if you are familiar with the D200. Few changes to controls and layout. At last Nikon have replaced the pull off port covers with rubber covers permanently attached to the body. Big improvement!
Bad points:
Setting auto bracketting is a pain but who needs it if you take in RAW and process in Photoshop?

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
I have upgraded to a D300 from a D70 after a number of years good service. I had looked at the D90 as well, but chose the older D300 as it had more autofocus options, quicker frame rate and more solid construction. After just returning from holiday with around 6000 photos - I am happy that I made the decision and am looking forward to more serious use.
Bad points:
Compared to the D70 it is in another league - soo nothing to compare about.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Amazing camera. Taken 12000+ photos in 4 months :) Built like a tank and weatherproof seals which is a bonus.
Bad points:
Even though it states 6 frames per second the maximum I can get that speed for is for 21 frames...so that's 3 1/2 seconds...it then slows down to a couple frames per second.
