John, Harrogate

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
The automatic lens cover; good resolution, no grain effect at low light levels; I really wanted the optical view finder, this is rare amongst digitals; takes ordinary batteries so not dependent on a charger although it's wise to use rechargables anyway; fast boot; the anti shake seems to work ok; there's a choice of short or long delayed shutter.
It works well mounted on the eyepiece of my astro telescope
Bad points:
After a long search for a replacement to my Dimage X60 I find I can't fault the Nikon

Good points:
Great cheap camera, what more do you want??
I cant think of any other product ive brought lately that comes close to the quality / cost.
Bad points:
Menu layout with mode selector a bit confusing. Looks like the've tryed to cover everyones needs in one camera. They could of made it a bit more clearer / changed layout as to the settings.
Have to release battery compartment to get at SD card. If your not really quick then the clock resets.

Malcolm, Hayle Land and seascape photographer.

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
I'm delighted with the camera because it suits my purposes. Its easy to use and has the advantage of being able to take over 50 photos on its built in memory card. Downloading photos on to a PC is simple and the results are excellent. Pictures are clear with depth and good colour. All round its an excellent buy. I have a battery charger which wasn't supplied with the camera and this is a great advantage if one takes a large number of photos.
Bad points:
Can't really think of any.
