Good points:
I originally bought this bike for my son for Xmas, it ticked all the boxes, with disc brakes and dual suspension, a lightweight frame and with a great colour combination.
He erected the bike himself (he's 15) including setting up the brakes and he found it very easy.
I read the reviews prior to purchase and found them 'hit and miss' and almost went to Halfords! But they couldn't supply the same spec bike for the same money.
I had a go on the bike and enjoyed the lightness and comfort of it so much so, I bought myself one after Christmas. The brakes and gears worked well on both.
I would recommend this bike
Bad points:
None really, however, I like a tall seat, at 5'6" the seat just won't quite go high enough perhaps need an inch!

simon , london i like bikes

Score 6.0/10
Good points:
good brakes although took some fiddling
gears are ok but need some maintenance as can often slip
Bad points:
the back suspension is no good because it dissapates the energy of forward momentum it should be toggled so that you only use it when going down hill for suspension.

this back suspension problem is quite restrictive because i now have to put more effort into cycling and the ride isnt as good because it bounces up and down
