Good points:
This Laptop is perfect for high performance gaming. With the GT 650M graphics card this laptop can handle video games such as Battlefield 3 on ultra and high.
The 1080p hd screen makes the laptop beautiful for viewing high def videos an films whilst the processor allows the laptop to exceed in fast task management.
Bad points:
Battery life is around 3hours whilst the windows 8 which is locked into the laptop has crashed my laptop once or twice. The harddrive can sometimes be extremely slow when loading high performance software.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Good processor, loads of RAM, good GFX card
The case design is nice
Keyboard take a little getting used to (with some keys moved or removed)
Bad points:
Windows 8 came pre-installed, was putting a strain on the laptop, not running at full potential
Because of the above, the HDD had the new filesystem, which is incompatible with win7 so I had to format the HDD (and lose the ability to use the recovery software/partition) and spend quite some time manually downloading all the drivers! *headache*

Good points:
Great graphics, lightweight, battery life ok for the short periods of gaming.
Bad points:
Windows 8... What can I say... If it updates again for 1hr 42min I may lose my temper and get Windows 7 installed :-(
Having the power lead come out of the side of the laptop, it seems like a minor detail but I have to have that side over an edge or it looks like it'll get bent.

Graphic are epic on game no doubt
Bad points:
Like most people say Window 8 Sucks
It runs slow when im on/off the internet and with only downloading 2 games nothing else added to it.
It also sometimes freezes for no reason and take a while for it to get back to normal.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Fantastic screen (matte helps working in strong light and full-HD is great). Good keyboard with number pad, good performance from NVIDIA GT650M, nice sound from speakers. I bought this laptop mainly for my job as games programmer and so far haven't been disappinted by the performance.
Bad points:
Windows 8 is an interesting character..., Wifi drops out quite regularly in Windows 8 but in Linux is fine. UEFI means running Linux alongside Windows is a tad tricky.

Great performance seeing as it is quite thin for a gaming laptop.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
It is quick, allows be to easily perform video editing with no trouble. All tasks run quickly, multitasking is how you would expect it to be for a laptop with this specification. Screen is great, I prefer this matte finish to a gloss screen as I hate looking at myself whilst trying to work.Good weight for this size of laptop, not as heavy as you would expect. Good keyboard, glad i went for a full size keyboard with number pad and not the Dell XPS 15. Has potential to be even quicker with room to add more ram and msata flash drive and a spare port for either another HDD or a SSD if you can afford one. Overall I'm pleased I selected this laptop over the Dell XPS 15, and Lenovo Y500
Bad points:
The SCM launch buttons didn't work, but after some very helpful suggestions from the MSI support guys they got them working for me. The backslash key "\" and windows buttons have moved to the right hand side of the space bar, just annoying when you expect them to be next to and under the "Z" key, but this is due to it being a gamers keyboard, something i may look into now I have a fast laptop.
