Good points:
It's very quiet. It has a quick wash too, so if you have lots of small items that don't need a lot of washing you can use the quick wash, which is about 36 mins. It looks good. It displays time left on a cycle, which is great. It tells you when to replace salt/rinse aid. You fill the salt up in the door of dishwasher which is lot easier. Also moveable racks, and middle of cutlery drawer is moveable, so you can put whisks etc in!
Bad points:
It is expensive. But I always buy Miele & they do last longer.

Good points:
This is the third Miele appliance we have in the house. We are a family of 6 so all white goods get some hammer - this is the only brand we have been happy with. The main reason is Miele don't go wrong (in our experience); repair bills on washing machine (used twice daily at least for 11 years) = £0. Repair bills on tumble dryer (similar use over similar time) = £0. This product seems to be just as good. When children get excited about loading a dishwasher, you know you've done OK!
Bad points:
The price will put people off I guess, but you get what you pay for.

Good points:
Excellent wash results sparkling! Very Very quiet with an option for an even quieter cycle(this extends the cycle, but its ideal for overnight washes)! Plus a turbo cycle!
A+++ for water use, drying and electricity use! It came with a 5year warranty with the option to extend to 10 years for £159! I took this option as it covers parts labour and call out!
Bad points:
It is very expensive! But considering its designed to last upto 20 years it works out a lot less than buying cheaper brands which usually last 2-5 years! I previously owned a Siemens, which lasted 6years but i spent a lot on repairs in that time! Although it washed well! Again though not as sparkly as the Miele!

Good points:
Really nice dishwasher, very quiet, easy to use, have to get used to loading it,which is the same whenever you change your dishwasher.Didn't think i would like the 3D cutlery rack, but actually....it works and isn't as time consuming to load as i thought. The racks are very adjustable so i can fit in my very big plates.Looks stylish.
Bad points:
No real bad points, any problems i have are more due to limitations of dishwashers in general.I have 4 kids,2 are teenage boys and a husband so bigger would always be better but this is certainly one of the more roomy dishwashers i looked at,if i was on a more limited budget i would have gone for a less expensive model but..for your money, you do get a top quality, well designed, dishwasher that will hopefully last a long time.

Manufacturer's Description

Unique innovation and outstanding performance deliver the best cleaning results time after time

Miele have thought of everything when it comes to the G5620SC dishwasher! This full-sized machine boasts 14 place settings, and A+++ energy rating and a SoftClose door for smooth and seamless use.
As well as a choice of temperatures between 40-75°C, this machine features 7 versatile programmes, including:

  • Quick wash 40°C – perfect for lightly soiled dishes
  • Energy save – suitable for everyday loads
  • Pots and pans 75°C – for heavily soiled items
  • Sensor wash – ensures sparkling results
  • Sensor wash gentle – a sensor controlled programme with particular emphasis on glass care
  • Extra quiet – allows you to reduce noise levels, for example at night time
  • Intensive lower basket – wash your dirty pots and pans in the same cycle as delicate glassware

After the last rinse and dry cycle, AutoOpen drying automatically opens the dishwasher door slightly to allow steam to escape and cool air to circulate. This feature helps ensure your crockery is extra dry for unloading, so you shouldn’t need that tea towel on standby anymore.

In addition, a 24 hour timer delay lets you take advantage of off-peak electricity. And if you need your dishes in a hurry, simply push the Turbo button: this nifty function reduces the duration of programmes by an average of 30%. A handy display tells you how many minutes are left of the wash cycle. And because it’s angled to face you, it’s easier to read.

With more adjustable parts, the upper and lower HighComfort baskets can be tailored to suit the contents of each wash. The Miele 3D cutlery tray sits at the top of the machine, but you can enjoy space and flexibility by lowering this tray into the centre to hold larger utensils such as ladles and spoons. A height-adjustable glass rail lets you wash your long-stemmed glasses such as champagne flutes effortlessly.

The G5620SC will take care of your washing up for many years, not least because it has a PC update facility enabling a Miele engineer to upgrade your machine in accordance with any new developments in technology.

Miele machines are famous for their longevity; their machines are designed to have a lifespan of 20 years in normal use, and Miele will therefore guarantee to carry spare parts accordingly. Their machines have an enamel coating which is directly applied as a powder, and will not chip, rust or lose its colour in normal use.
