Confirmed purchaser average compuor skills

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
It is easy to work and use for all who have a limited capability with computors and at the side of the Office Suite which is getting much harder to locate the parts you require when using the system. Works puts it into plain language and things are easily to hand with all parts including the spreadsheet.
Bad points:
I feel it has deteriated on the data base front with labels. You used to be able to tick entries and only those would be printed to the labels other un ticked were left out. This was great when doing a label run.

Confirmed purchaser

Score 1.0/10
Good points:
I am unable to find any since it is supposed to be an upgrade of Microsoft Works 8 but the only difference is that Microsoft Draw was removed completely and nothing put in its place, all other features are pretty much the same.
Bad points:
I presumed it to be an upgrade of Microsoft Works 8 but the only difference is that Microsoft Draw has been removed completely and nothing put in its place, all other features are pretty much the same. I used Draw a lot and was looking for an upgrade of this in particular plus a few extra fonts and easier access to different colours but Microsoft Works 9 is, in my opinion, Works 8 downgraded, it should in fact be called Works 5. I have also tried word, which Microsoft claims to be simple to use, but it is too complicated to access the things I require.

Confirmed purchaser I say the truth

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
Good and easy to use product if you have not had MS Office.
Bad points:
I have used MS Office for years but now being retired thought I could do without the expense of Office but have to admit that I miss some of the slick short cuts and useful moves that are not shared with Works.
It is a shame MS have restricted from Works so many useful components available on Office. I realise it would be a lesser product but some working elements should be basic to all products once invented. This is not the Stone Age. I can not believe MS can be so tight about sharing some the better Office product elements. I had a great deal of difficulty in transfering my existing MS Office documents to this same manufacturers product.
